Veterans Curation Program

The Veteran’s Curation Program hires and trains veterans to process at-risk archaeological collections belonging to the US Army Corps of Engineers.This is a great opportunity for veterans interested in gaining on the job experience in artifact processing, collection stewardship, and artifact photography as archaeological lab technicians. It is a five month program located in either Virginia, Georgia, or Missouri. Among the benefits of the program are: paid training, paid federal holidays including up to one week personal time, either 20 or 40 hour weeks with no expected overtime, personal growth and development assistance, resume building and job searches, and an ADA compliant and Equal Opportunity Employer. The program and lab locations are partnered with other government agencies and cultural resource management companies who provide the most up to date training in artifact processing and cataloging.
