IFR Military Veterans Scholarship
Ladies and Gents,
I recently uncovered an outstanding scholarship opportunity with the Institute for Field Research (IFR). The IFR was created and is run by a group of academic archaeologists. It provides archaeological field school opportunities around the world where students and volunteers can obtain the skills they need to be productive in the profession. The field schools also award academic credits to the students through Connecticut College.
The IFR Military Veterans Scholarship is a way the organization recognizes the skills veterans can bring to the field of archaeology. It is an award of up to $5,000 toward the tuition of one of their field schools. The intent is for the scholarship to cover the entire published cost of an IFR field school. Of course, there are specific requirements to apply so I’ve included the link to the IFR’s scholarship page.
