The References section includes a library of Modern and Ancient source material of interest to anyone requiring in-depth knowledge about the history, cultures, and cultural property protection measures relevant to military operations in war zones. Following that source material are Links to websites that provide entry to many organizations and other information on many topics of interest to CHAMP and MilCHAG.
Arbeitskreis Kulturgueterschutz (Workshop milPCP) within the Offiziersgesellschaft (OG) Wien, that is the Austrian Officers Society in Vienna. The OG is an NGO representing the interests of all Armed Forces Officers, regular and reserve, towards the MoD, the political parties, the media and society. In fact, it is mainly driven by reserve officers ranking Col or Brig-Gen. This Arbeitskreis will form a dedicated and specialized platform for all Cultural Property Protection Officers of the Austrian Armed Forces and will enhance Austria’s work on milPCP and in particular in terms of civil military relation. Oriental Institute, University of Chicago is delighted to announce the launch of the Collections Search for the Oriental Institute Museum and Research Archives. Users can now explore over two hundred and seven thousand objects from the Oriental Institute Museum Collection and over four hundred fifty thousand bibliographic records as part of the Research Archives Online Catalog.
